The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for carrying out all of the duties and responsibilities of an Electrician at the Journeyman level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all electrical trades functions necessary to install, maintain and repair the fixtures, equipment and systems.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
May be assigned any work that is reasonable for which a Journeyman Electrician is capable of performing.
REQUIRED SKILLS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE:
A current Journeyman Electrician license is required.5+ years' experience as a Journeyman Electrician
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must life and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, candidates for posted positions must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance at the Secret level.
