Journeyman Electrician
**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician - Rooftop Solar Project** **Location: Denver University** **Employment Type:** Temporary (8 weeks) **Pay Rate:** $45 - $48 per hour **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for a Rooftop Solar Project. This temporary position will last for 8 weeks, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $45 to $48, depending on qualifications and experience. **Key Responsibilities:** + Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of rooftop solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with all local and national electrical codes. + Lead and mentor a team of apprentices and helpers in electrical tasks related to solar installations. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to execute project plans effectively. + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. + Ensure proper wiring and connectivity of solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical equipment. + Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. + Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients to provide updates and address any concerns. **Qualifications:** + Valid Journeyman Electrician license. + Proven experience in electrical work, preferably in solar energy systems. + In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and installation techniques. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. + Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. + Excellent communication and leadership skills. **Benefits:** + Competitive hourly wage. + Hands-on experience in the growing field of renewable energy. + Opportunity for potential long-term employment or advancement within the company. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
