Job Description
We are a top-tier, employee-owned electrical contractor in Omaha, seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians. The role involves installing new electrical systems in new homes, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and appliance hookups. You will interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan wiring layouts and ensure efficient and accurate installations. The work primarily focuses on residential projects, including multi-family and new construction homes, as well as custom and executive homes.
ResponsibilitiesInstall new electrical systems in residential homes.Interpret and follow electrical blueprints and schematics.Install wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and appliance hookups.Perform conduit bending and installation.Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.Collaborate effectively within a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.Ensure adherence to attendance expectations and work with efficiency and speed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years of electrical experience in residential settings.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch and perform basic math efficiently.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Experience in conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license preferred or a reliable plan for transportation.Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.Experience with roughing in electrical work and finishing tasks such as installing light receptacles and hanging lights.Appliance installation experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime available on Saturdays. We prioritize work-life balance and do not push excessive overtime. The dress code includes jeans without holes, professional tee shirts, and work boots (no tennis shoes or cut-off shirts allowed). Personal protective equipment such as high visibility vests, hard hats, glasses, and gloves are provided. Candidates must have basic hand tools and a pouch, including a standard hammer, 25’ tape measure, Phillips #2 screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, and wire strippers.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
