Journeyman Electrician
Position: Journeyman Electrician Company: Loenbro - Industrial Services Group Location: Berthoud, CO Reports To: Prefab Manager Wages: $30hr - $40hr DOE Loenbro, LLC is looking to hire Journeyman Electricians for our Prefab Shop located in Berthoud, CO. The Journeyman Electrician will help support the building efforts of the shop to fabricate cable and electrical trays, panel & transformer stands/pedestals, pre-made pre-cut wire runs with multiple cables, transformer wiring and electrical cabinet builds including wiring/terminations. This is a preliminary breakdown of the work to be performed and will most certainly change over time as the need for this shop increases to support other projects from inside the company. Expected work schedule will be the standard 40-hour work week (Monday through Friday) with possible OT and weekend work as needed. Job Duties: + Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems. + Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. + Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. + Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. + Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. + The Electrician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management. + Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics + Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations. + Work with and train apprentices on the job. Skills/Qualifications: + Must hold a valid electrical Journeyman license. + Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in instrumentation and industrial electrical systems. + Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls. + Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed. + Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. + Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen. + Basic computer knowledge is required. Potential Hazards: + Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures + Limited working surfaces + Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors + Exposure to areas with limited visibility + Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights) + Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks + If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. Essential Requirements: + Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day, Standing + Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel. + Use of respirator if position requires. + Driving if required to travel.
