Job Description
The role will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems for the IG Machine & Fibers Ltd. Ashcroft which is a granules production facility. The primary functions of the Electrician include troubleshooting and timely repairs in support of the daily operation of the plant, taking part in the planned maintenance activities as well as small, new-construction and continuous improvement projects throughout the facility in conjunction with the other skilled tradespeople and maintenance staff. The role must also help ensure the safety of themselves and others by observing all relevant codes and regulations. This position will be reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and must comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
