Journeyman Electrician
**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician** **Job Description** As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be working in industrial and commercial environments. This role requires expertise in motor controls, instrumentation, and lock-out tag-out procedures. **Responsibilities** + Work with electrical systems including wiring, troubleshooting, and testing. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Install and maintain motor control systems and instrumentation. + Perform conduit bending and installation. + Handle high voltage and medium voltage systems. + Ensure compliance with safety procedures including lock-out tag-out. + Work in various environments such as grain elevators, schools, commercial buildings, and waste water treatment facilities. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of motor controls and instrumentation. + Experience with lock-out tag-out procedures. + Proficiency in electrical wiring and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with AC/DC systems and 3-phase power. + Ability to work with high voltage and medium voltage systems. + Conduit bending and installation skills. + Licensed electrician in Iowa and Nebraska. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in grain elevators, concrete processing facilities, batch plant or waste water treatment facilities is highly preferred. + 3+ year journeyman is preferred with a capability of earning $40-$50 per hour. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive health insurance for individual and family. You will be working with various electrical systems in these industrial and commercial settings. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
