Journeyman Electrician
Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team for various job sites around Minnesota. The role primarily involves commercial electrical projects, but candidates with residential experience for apartment complexes are also welcome. The projects include new builds, remodels, and retrofitting, involving either 480 volt or 208 volt systems. Candidates must have proficiency in bending conduit (EMT). Project durations range from 2 months to 3 years, with opportunities to move to new job sites upon project completion.

ResponsibilitiesInterpret construction documents, specifications, and verbal and written instructions for electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.Set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment.Measure, cut, and bend conduit.Trace and troubleshoot short circuits and other electrical issues.Perform minor electrical repairs.Collaborate closely with Apprentice and Master Electricians, supervisors, and Project Managers.Lead and mentor apprentices to facilitate their learning and development.Demonstrate excellent customer service and efficient communication.Manage project files, drawings, documents, and records in our system.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical, construction, wiring, mechanical, and conduit work.Proficiency in troubleshooting and blueprint reading.Skill in conduit bending.Valid MN Driver's License.Class A MN Journeyman or Master Electrician License.Competence in email and Project Management platforms such as Procore.Ability to work in restricted areas and at heights.Capability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.Self-starter and team player qualities.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to travel extensively to/from regional job sites.Commitment to continuing education for the position.Ability to mentor and educate Apprentice Electricians.Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, or drive for long periods.Capability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Physical ability to manually dig and back-fill holes and trenches.OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.Track record of running successful jobs with neat piping and workmanship.Professional image projection, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.Ability to run jobs and teach others.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Journeymen would receive a company vehicle and would also recieve a phone/tablet allowance
