Weyerhaeuser is recruiting for a Journeyman Electrician, with knowledge of processes and techniques used to maintain high-tech manufacturing equipment, to join our team in Princeton, BC. The starting rate for this position is $48.895/hr. *Key Functions:* * Safely maintain the electrical systems in the manufacturing facility. * Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems in the operation. * Effectively maintain communications with maintenance personnel and supervisors to safely and efficiently perform mill maintenance duties (reactive and preventive). *Required Skills* * Commitment to safety – demonstrated record of understanding and following safety practices and procedures. * Red Seal Journeyman Electrician * High School Diploma or equivalent * Driven and motivated self-starter * Innovative, willing to learn and open to new ideas. * Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with team focus. * Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills. * Follows tasks through to completion with follow up. * Basic troubleshooting with PLC’s * Basic troubleshooting and configuring of VFD’s and Soft Starts. * Troubleshooting motors and motor starter controls * Willing to work a shift schedule consisting of 12-hour night and day shifts in 24/7/365 operation * Solid prioritization skills while troubleshooting. * Basic Computer and software skills. *Preferred Skills* * Troubleshooting issues using the following PLC Software. RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, ProWORX Nxt. * VFD Troubleshooting/Configuring skills with AB PowerFlex 753/755, Toshiba G3/G7/G9, Mitsubishi A700/A800) * Basic network troubleshooting and use of Ping to check device connectivity. * Industrial Maintenance Experience *About Wood Products* We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
