**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician** **Job Description** We are hiring for journeyman electricians to work on a large BESS/Solar site in Salome, AZ called Atlas. This project has multiple phases and could have continuous work for several years. Journeyman Electricians will aid in the electrical installation of PV & Battery Energy Storage units at a utility scale site. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for solar energy projects. You will work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met. **Responsibilities** + Install and maintain electrical systems for solar panels, inverters, and related equipment. + Conduct site assessments to evaluate electrical infrastructure and requirements. + Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop project plans and timelines. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. + Troubleshoot electrical issues in solar systems and provide effective solutions. + Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical components to ensure optimal performance. + Assist in training and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices. + Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. **Essential Skills** + Electrical + Conduit + Troubleshooting + Construction **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred. + Valid electrician’s license preferred but not required. + Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical work, with a focus on renewable energy or solar construction preferred. + Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety practices. + Familiarity with solar technology, including photovoltaic systems and inverters. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. **Why Work Here?** We are a leading firm specializing in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. A per diem of $100/day is provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salome, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $53.00/hr.
