**Now Hiring - Journeyman Electrician** **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa **Schedule:** 1st shift, 8-10 hours per day, Monday - Friday **Pay:** $30 - $40 hourly (Competitive salary based on experience/qualifications) **Description:** + As a Journeyman Electrician in this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks in both residential or commercial settings. You will be working with a team of professionals to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. + Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics to identify problems. + Ensure all electrical work is completed following NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes. + Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation requirements. + Conduct inspections of electrical systems and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs. + Mentor and guide apprentices and junior electricians. + Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide updates on work progress. **Qualifications:** + Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Iowa. + In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. **Benefits:** + Competitive salary based on experience. + Health, dental, and vision insurance. + Paid time off and holidays. + 401(k) with company match. + Ongoing training and development opportunities. + A supportive and collaborative work environment. **How to Apply:** + Apply to this job posting by submitting an updated resume outlining your qualifications & experience, along with answering the initial screening questions.
