Job Description:
Are you a skilled Journeyman Electrician looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at our New Castle facility. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our electrical systems, contributing to our mission of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and Maintain Systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and repair electrical problems using appropriate testing devices, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.Inspect and Test Components: Conduct regular inspections and tests on transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.Read Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to understand the layout and requirements of electrical systems.Ensure Code Compliance: Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations to ensure all electrical installations and repairs meet required standards.Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent issues and extend the lifespan of equipment.Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman Electrician License.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.Proficiency in using electrical testing devices and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.Why Join Us?
