Job Description
We are seeking two experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Washington D.C. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesCreate safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setting up and removing traffic control devices, including cones, message/arrow boards, and temporary signage.Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, including transformers, switchboards, panel boards, conduit systems, disconnects, contactors, circuit breakers, motor starters, relays, controllers, motors, heaters, CCTV cameras, lane control signals, electronic message signs, lighting, PLC, and VFD.Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to accurately diagnose and repair faults across various electrical assets and systems in accordance with NEC standards.Maintain high-quality workmanship and collaborate effectively with other trades, teams, and inspectors.Perform basic maintenance and repair of structures.Be available for emergency response rotations, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Essential SkillsExperience as a Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience.Proficiency in installing and repairing electrical equipment, including transformers, switchboards, panel boards, conduit systems, disconnects, contactors, circuit breakers, motor starters, relays, controllers, motors, heaters, CCTV cameras, lane control signals, electronic message signs, lighting, PLC, and VFD.Knowledgeable about NEC codes and requirements.Advanced troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny additional electrical knowledge is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Contractors will be working on DC tunnels. There is one day shift and one night shift available.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
