Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan electrical systems.Ensure all electrical systems function efficiently and safely.Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.Comply with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.Supervise and mentor junior electricians as needed.Handle emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs swiftly.Essential SkillsElectrical installation, maintenance, and repair.Interpretation of blueprints and technical diagrams.Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCompleted electrician apprenticeship program.Valid Journeyman Electrician license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a construction environment that requires adherence to safety protocols. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, often in varying weather conditions. Expect to use a range of electrical testing and diagnostic tools, and to wear appropriate safety gear at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract-to-hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
