**Journeyman Electrician – Holland, MI - $40-$50/hr - Permanent Position – Excellent Benefits** Schedule 6/10 hour days Must have: + Industrial or Commercial Construction experience + Journeyman license – active + Willing to work six 10 hour days as needed **Job Summary:** The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. This includes working on various construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities:** + Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment, in residential, commercial, or industrial settings (depending on the company's focus). + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair work. + Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations. + Use a variety of hand and power tools effectively and safely. + Work independently and as part of a team. + Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other trades. + Maintain accurate records of work performed. + Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. + May be required to train and mentor apprentice electricians. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Valid Journeyman Electrician license in [State/Region]. + Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in construction. + Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repair. + Experience with various types of electrical systems and equipment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. + High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred.
