What you will do...This position will support the Multispectral Camouflage Management (MCM) program at NSWC Dahlgren. This a journeyman level position requiring experience and accolades in engineering, electro-optical and infrared sensors, optics, basic image processing, modeling and simulation, data analysis, and technical report writing. This position is onsite 5 days per week.
Skills you will need...Required Experience:
-Four (4) to Nine (9) years of general Engineering experience
-U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance
-Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in engineering, mathematics, or physical science.
Demonstrate specialized experience in the following areas:
-U.S. Navy Combat Systems experience preferred
-Engineering fundamentals
-Electro-optical and Infrared sensors
-Optics
-Basic Image Processing
-Modeling and Simulation
-Data Analysis
-Technical Report Writing
-Familiarity with Python/MATLAB preferred but this position is not responsible for developing new scripts or writing code
-Strong communication skills
-The MCM program uses specific modeling tools to perform Modeling and Simulation, but prior experience with the specific models is not required.
