Linemen perform skilled journey-level work involving the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems. A high degree of skill and safety consciousness is required. The work is dangerous and frequently performed on energized high voltage lines and/or under unfavorable weather conditions. Work is normally performed under supervision; however, on occasion, employees may work on special assignments without supervision and may supervise skilled and unskilled workers of other classifications. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + Graduation from high school or equivalent + Hold a current journey-level line electrician card Licenses, Certificates and Other Requirements: Valid Washington State Commercial Driver's License, Class A required at time of application. Must obtain tanker endorsement prior to completion of probation with maintenance thereafter. Valid first aid, CPR, and flagging card must be obtained prior to completion of probation with maintenance thereafter.
