A week in the life of a Journeyman Marine Propulsion Engineer:

Design, development, and evaluation and operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, such as power supply and propulsion systems. Review third party design modifications and improvements to mechanical systems Perform design reviews, evaluations constructability reviews, helping resolve technical uses and managing information generated through design and construction phase Support marine engineering analysis related to vessels Help team to create graphical representations of structures Inspect equipment or systems Research advanced engineering designs or applications Support in preparation of technical reports for internal use
