Job Description

​ROLE OVERVIEW:

Amcor is currently seeking an individual to join our Neenah Maintenance team! An Electromechanical Technician supports maintenance of all machinery in the Neenah Amcor facility.

COMPENSATION:

Starting pay is $35.62/hour + Double Time on Sunday's and Holidays!

SHIFT:

12-hour rotating shift (6:30-6:30) switching from days to nights. Employees work either 3 or 4 shifts in a row. Each set of shifts is either days or nights. In-between those sets of shifts, employees get 1, 3, or 7 days off in a row depending on where they are in the 28-day shift rotation.

Valid WI state journeyman card required for Millwright.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Plan and implement work, including efforts with outside contractors.

Plans modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications of local/national electric codes; uses/follows design specifications to properly install new equipment; calculates loads of equipment for proper installation.

Prepares sketches or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceiling, and flooring.

Use test instruments to troubleshoot/repair equipment.

Evaluates and returns instruments for repair and calibration.

Operates forklifts and scissor lifts; adheres to all plant and equipment safety requirements; serves and consults in matters involving safety.

Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled.

Practices safety at all times in compliance with company safety mission and philosophy, including following lock-out/tag-out, electrical hot-work and confined space entry procedures.

Adheres to plant housekeeping requirements and follows all good manufacturing practices.

Adheres to all GMP and AIB policies and procedures.

Is responsible for the safe proper use and care of shop tools and equipment.

Reads and interprets blueprints and is able to use basic shop inspection tools and equipment to ensure parts meet defined tolerance and quality expectations.

Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards, as well as Amcor safety policies.

May perform installation and maintenance work as part of team of skilled trades workers

Other duties and tasks as assigned.
