**Overview** The Journeyman Painter/Engineer will perform exterior painting projects, basic maintenance, safety inspections and repairs to varying types of equipment and reports to the Chief Engineer. This position is 90% exterior work **Pay Range is: $** 66.27/HR (http://60.0.0.5/HR) The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. **Benefit Information:** This is a union position and as such will include union benefits. **Basic Qualifications:** + Commercial Journeyman Painter - 7 years' experience minimum + Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license + Must possess engineering license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed **Preferred Qualifications:** + Basic Mechanical knowledge + Plumbing and Electrical experience preferred + Prior construction experience **Responsibilities:** + Follow safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards + Must be proficient in preparation for all surfaces. Sanding, Scraping Ect. Masking and Taping + Prepping & Painting: Handrail, light poles, metal doors. bollards. + Prepping & Refinishing wood handrails, Docks and Decks + Prepping & Painting cement flower and tree planters. + Proficient with all painting applications: Brush, rollers, spray equipment + Proficient with all types of paint, primers, stains and sealers + Power Washing + Proficient in using power and hand tools. Drills, Saws, Sanders etc. + Basic construction skills. + Framing. wood and metal + Drywall/Sheetrock installation and repair + Tape & Mud, texture and smooth wall.
