**Job Title: Journeyman Plumber** **Job Description** Our Journeyman Plumbers primarily work on new-construction installations of a wide variety of plumbing systems. We handle commercial and industrial projects, including schools, multi-family residences, hotels, police and fire stations, food processing facilities, large distribution warehouses, and more. Our projects span the private, public, and federal sectors. **Responsibilities:** + Read blueprints and other technical documents to assess building needs and pipe/plumbing fixture plans + Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures + Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welds, etc., to pipes and tubes + Measure and modify pipes by cutting, threading, or bending using specialized tools + Install appliances like boilers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and more + Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices + Confirm pipe systems are air/watertight by performing pressure test + Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning **Skills** + Reading blueprints + Pipe installation and repair + Using specialized plumbing tools and Pressure testing pipe systems + Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Pasco, Washington. **Work Environment** + Work is located in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. + Projects are primarily new construction with approximately 50% of the work being prevailing wage. + The role involves a wide range of interesting and challenging work that includes standard plumbing, hydronic systems, and mechanical tasks. **Apply Now!** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
