**Job Title: Journeyman Plumber - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** The Plumbing Mechanic will perform maintenance, installation, and repair work on piped utility systems and fixtures, as well as on the piping and connections of equipment. This work is performed under general supervision, using the tools and techniques of plumbing technology. We are looking for a mechanic with significant experience in a position with plenty of room for growth! **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance, installation, and repair work on piped utility systems and fixtures. + Handle piping and connections for various equipment. + Utilize all types of tools and equipment commonly used in the plumbing trade, including specialized equipment such as power augers and pipe threaders. + Operate powered bench and hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders, compressed air) as well as non-powered hand tools. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing issues in commercial buildings. + Work on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. **Essential Skills** + Journeyman Plumber certification (Maryland). + Experience in HVAC, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and plumbing. + Ability to work in commercial buildings. + Mechanical and electrical installation skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma. + Experience working in commercial buildings. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a path to full-time employment with comprehensive benefits. Work may be performed outdoors with exposure to extreme temperatures and other weather conditions. The role may require working in confined spaces, awkward positions, and at heights up to 30 feet using ladders, lifts, and equipment. The work requires the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $34.64 - $37.32 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
