**Job Title: Foreman** **Job Description** We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising mechanical and plumbing aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The role also includes effectively communicating with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers, teaching apprentices, and preparing regular reports on project status. **Responsibilities** + Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities. + Unclog stopped-up sinks and fix pipes that do not allow water to flow freely, including working on or with hot water heaters. + Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed. + Teach and mentor apprentices. + Manage and supervise mechanical and plumbing aspects of construction projects. + Develop plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. + Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards. + Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient. + Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts during construction. + Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of workmanship. + Prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates. **Essential Skills** + Plumbing + Construction + Reading and interpreting blueprints + PVC and CPVC piping + Cast iron piping + Mechanical piping + Soldering and brazing + Fusion pipe techniques including electro fusion, socket fusion, and butt fusion + Managing journeymen and apprentices + Working on commercial projects **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift up to 30lbs + Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours **Why Work Here?** We offer a contract-to-hire opportunity with benefits such as a company phone, computer, and truck.
