**Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer** **Job Description** Aerotek seeks two Journeyman-level sheet metal installers with at least 3-10 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with a good attitude. The scope of work includes installing hanging straps, round and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems while occasionally working on ladders and scissor lifts. Candidates must have all necessary sheet metal hand tools and a cordless power drill. Responsibilities include installing assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning systems, furnace casings in supportive frameworks, selecting gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material according to product specifications, measuring and punching holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets, fabricating or altering parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, and drills, and trimming, filing, grinding, deburring, buffing, and smoothing surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts using hand tools and portable power tools.
