**Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join our team for commercial projects in San Diego County. The candidate will work alongside a team of sheet metal installers, focusing on the installation of hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. The role requires working on ladders and scissor lifts. **Responsibilities** + Install hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting. + Install uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. + Work on ladders and scissor lifts. + Perform tasks as directed, including trash/scrap cleanup and relocating materials. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of HVAC sheet metal experience. + Experience with ductwork installation (round, rectangle, and spiral ducting). + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanical installation skills. + Must possess all necessary sheet metal hand tools and a cordless power drill. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience primarily in commercial projects. + Capability to work on both new construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects. **Why Work Here?** Join the largest mechanical subcontractor in the area, offering plenty of work and growth opportunities.
