JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for installation of commercial duct systems following customer specifications and applicable building code. Responsibilities Supports construction projects by fabricating and installing sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems, including necessary fittings and transitions. Installs duct hangers and supports as directed by the foreman to ensure proper alignment and stability. Assists in the construction process by sealing duct joints and connections to ensure airtight systems. Provides support by installing ductwork for cooling systems and assisting in the integration of new HVAC systems or the remodeling of existing systems. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years experience of installing commercial duct systems 2+ years overseeing or running a crew(s)High school diploma or GED equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills. Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance.
