This position reports to the Mine Electrical Supervisor.

 

What you will do:

Work safely in a mining environment and have the ability to follow the procedures and policies that are in place. Responsible for installing and maintaining both high and low-voltage equipment throughout the mine. Play a critical role not only ensuring your safety, but also the safety of others.

 

What you will bring:

Valid Journeyperson Electrician License required. Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset. Positive safety behavior and be a safety leader. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to work safely and effectively in a labor-intensive team environment as well as independently. Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training. This position will involve shift work.
