Job Description A Fortune 500 oil & gas employer in Houston looking for an Automation Consultant to join their Product Optimization group. The ideal candidate will come from an automation or process control background and have a strong understanding cloud technologies. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing industrial processes using historical and live data, as well as developing custom report dashboards and visualizations. These candidates must be local to Houston, Tx and willing to work a hybrid schedule. This position pays $40-$48 an hour based on level of experience. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. 1+ year of experience working with Pi Historian/OSI Pi Knowledge of industrial protocols, such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, etc. Experience with SQL, C#, or Python Excellent communication and presentation skills. A willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
