Work Location: This role is located onsite in Chattanooga, TN - 412 E 10th St, Chattanooga, TN 37403 As a Junior Application Developer, you'll be an integral part of our software development team, working closely with experienced developers to design, build, and maintain applications that enhance our customers' experiences. Experience why Five Star Food Service is the employer and food service provider of choice in the Southeast: https://youtu.be/MXAlUJXzD1A Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of web and mobile applications. + Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. + Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and practices. + Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. + Help maintain documentation of software applications and technical processes. + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to continually improve development processes. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar. + Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks). + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. + A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: + Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android). + Knowledge of databases and SQL. + Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
