Job Title : Jr. Buyer

Job Description:

Assist buyers and managers with writing purchase orders, buying merchandise, and managing inventoryAnalyze supplier and retail data to assist buyers in decision making on cost and sellResearch suppliers to determine which ones fit company pricing and quality objectivesAdvise retail outlets how to price products based on purchase price and market trendsReview purchase orders, conferring with other departments to verify orders, contacting vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliersHelp with various purchasing procedures, inventories, accounts, proposals and similar preparationsDetermine purchasing needs, analyzing quotes and bids for suitability, cost and product availabilityEvaluate samples, products and servicesRecommend and initiating purchase of materials, supplies and servicesAn in store training will occur for a period of time. Time frame may vary by department 

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting or Finance.Computer proficiency in Microsoft office
