Volt is immediately hiring a Jr. Electrical Engineer/Electrical Technician in Irvine CA.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As a Jr. Electrical Engineer/Electrical Technician you will:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform testing and troubleshooting of PCBA electronics using standard test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, differential probes, current probes, multimeters, signal generators, power meters, and power supplies.\r\n\tRecord test results and identify any anomalies, defects, or deviations from specifications.\r\n\tDocument and report test findings to the engineering team, providing clear and concise information on identified issues and recommended solutions.\r\n\tCollaborate closely with the engineering team to address any design or manufacturing issues that may arise during testing.\r\n\tAssist in the development and implementation of new testing methodologies and procedures to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.\r\n\tMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.\r\n\tPerform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time contingent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssociates degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.\r\n\tMinimum of 2 years of experience in a PCBA electronics testing environment.\r\n\tSolid understanding of electronics principles and the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.\r\n\tProficiency in using standard test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power supplies.\r\n\tAttention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.\r\n\tCompetent with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay rate: $32-$38/ per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
