What this job involves –

Jr. Facilities Technician, Data Center

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn about building maintenance. As an Entry-Level Facilities Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and improving our building's functionality, appearance, and safety. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over extensive experience.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Assisting with basic building repairs and maintenance tasksHelping with painting interior and exterior surfacesPerforming simple plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drainsChanging light bulbs and assisting with basic electrical work under supervisionMoving furniture and equipment as neededMaintaining a clean and organized work environmentLearning to use various tools and equipment safelyAssisting experienced technicians with more complex tasksResponding to and completing work orders in a timely manner

Desired experience and technical skills -

Required:

High school diploma or equivalentPositive attitude and eagerness to learnGood communication skillsAbility to work well in a teamBasic computer skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders safelyWillingness to follow safety procedures and wear protective equipmentReliability and punctualityCustomer service orientation

Preferred:

Some experience or interest in building maintenance, construction, or related fieldsFamiliarity with hand and power toolsBasic understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
