How you’ll help us.
Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Senior IT Operations Manager, and as part of the role, you’ll:
Support the Information Security Officer (ISO) in Coordinating, both internally and towards different suppliers, concerning actionable insights. Implement improvements identified ISO to further improve the infrastructure and application landscape security within the EMEA region. Execute tasks emerging from various Security Operations initiatives. Work with the ISO to ensure that our users know the possible risks and understand what is required from them. Act as deputy to the ISO regarding security-related matters within the EMEA region (including performing a first assessment in case of possible data breaches). Assist IT colleagues within the EMEA region on questions regarding patch management, end-point protection, BCP (Business Continuity Planning) security assessments, etc.
More about you.
Qualification in a relevant field (computer science, information security, or related). Knowledge and practice in security incident management and awareness of security best practices and tools. Formal Information Security related training, or the desire to attend such training soon after joining ASICS. Basic awareness of GDPR requirements (including Data Protection), preferably of the ISO 27001 standards. 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
