Position Summary:

The Junior PM/Program Coordinator will provide direct support for the AFRL Vanguard Prospect CRONUS (Combat Refueling Operations Networked Universal System) development team in the form of administrative (e.g., calendar management, planning, scheduling, and facilitating internal AFRL Team meetings and external meetings with stakeholders), and programmatic support to the government lead(s) for CRONUS and related programs.

This job requires a highly motivated and organized individual to assist the Senior Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager and Chief Engineer for CRONUS with their administrative and PM duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Key point of contact for government Program Manager, offering direct support and ensuring smooth project executionProvide enhanced communication and collaboration by developing clear and concise briefings, documents and correspondenceStreamline day-to-day execution by implementing management tools, drafting leadership updates, coordination meetings, drafting and suspensing taskers, organizing program briefing products and documentation and improving overall team organizationEnsure all documents adhere to Tongue & Quill formatting standards and DoDI 5200.48 (Controlled Unclassified Information) protocolsMaintain file folder structure for program documents and naming nomenclature for all filesCollect information for monthly activity reports and BLUFs for submittal to government Program Manager for reviewCreate email distribution lists, manage scheduling of meetings, and assist with tasks, as assignedTrack action items for team using Microsoft PlannerAssist in managing the FY spend plan across the program (15-18 contracts, 3 lines of effort)Track funding requests and monthly earned reports across the programLead event planning and coordinating for large events with General Officer and industry engagements (AFA, A/TA, WEPTAC etc)Coordinate and help manage cost, schedule, performance for cross-cutting program activities (Digital, Security, CTR support etc)  Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, take broad direction on multiple tasks and work collaborativelyCoordinate with senior managers to schedule and facilitate meetingsCreate executive-level communications  Performing an array of administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor degreeMinimum of five years working in a professional office environmentProficiency with the MS Office Suite (Office 365), particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordProficiency with MS Teams and/or other collaboration applications including SharePointThe ability to listen and communicate effectively verbally and in writingUS citizenship and eligible for a Secret clearance

Desired:

Ten years experience working in government or defense industry environmentExpert skills with MS Office Suite (Office 365), particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordFamiliarity with Acquisition and budgeting processesActive Top Secret
