Jr.Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Harmonia is seeking a Quality Assurance Test Engineer to work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating daily within a scrum team.

The Quality Assurance Test Engineer will accomplish the following

Analyze software requirements and provide solutions. Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. Provide Full Stack software development support for User Interfaces, REST APIs, and Data Access Layers. Ensure software developed passes and completes stages within the CI pipeline. 

Required Qualifications:

Must be able to understand business requirements. Must be able to collaborate with excellent communication skills and ask questions and engage in dialog. Minimum of 4 years’ total SDLC experience with a minimum of 3 years of Software Testing. Must have strong knowledge of automated testing tools Testing frameworks Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG Automated Test-Driven Development (ATDD) tools using Selenium, Cucumber, Nightwatch (Preferred). Basic JavaScript experience. Experience writing automated test scripts and Writing queries with relational databases. Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering. Experience working within a Continuous Integration environment. Experience working with AWS tools and in cloud environments. Preferred experience with Jira or a similar scrum management tool. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. 

Desired Qualifications: 

Java and J2EE (full stack) JavaScript based stacks (MEAN) and open source technologies. Experience in Java with Spring MVC/REST/Data/Boot, JUnit and JPA. Angular (typescript), React (typescript) or NodeJS XML and JSON. Web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery Kafka/JMS and messaging tools. Desired - Docker, Docker Compose, Git, Jenkins, Java Applications servers (Tomcat/JBoss/etc), SQL and NoSQL DB, Gradle or Maven, Agile Development.
