The Challenge:

an operational support role to an active fighter
unit; you will be responsible for the security and
integrity of our systems that keep our jets flying.
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics
and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II,
the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It
is the Autonomic Logistics Information System
(ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the
ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain
its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS
provides the IT backbone and capabilities to
support current and future Warfighters across
the U.S. and allied military services.
As critical members of the F35 Operations Team,
all ALIS administrators must be able to:
* Obtain and maintain Special Access Program
clearance required for program access
* This is an operational support role to active
fighter units. Administrators must be willing and
able to travel for military
deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore)
for extended periods of time dependent upon
operational needs.
* Capable of working various shift hours to
include weekends to support customer mission
requirements.
* Candidates offered a position may be required
to complete a pre-employment medical exam
that is designed to ensure capability to deploy
with our military customer, which may be to
austere environments with limited access to
medical care.
A Day in the Life:
As an ALIS Administrator with our F-35 ALIS
team partnering with our customer, you will wear
many hats; system admin duties, data
management duties, network admin duties and
mission planning admin duties. ALIS
Administrators are generally the first point of
contact for customer inquiries, field any
questions and/or concern and troubleshoot any
reported problems. You will be assigned tasks in
most
ALIS administrative roles to further develop your
skills and increase capabilities within the ALIS
administrator role.
* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Obtain a Subject Matter Expert status for the
ALIS product suite
o Primary customer point of contact for technical
items
o Training ALIS Administrators and users on the
ALIS system
o Provide assistance/augmentation to local ALIS
leadership
o Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of
systems/databases/network equipment
o System/software/firewall/account maintenance
and monitoring
o Laptop re-image, troubleshooting, account
maintenance
o Installing system wide software, allocating
mass storage space and
o Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi[1]user computer systems through coordination
with peers, Tier2 and engineers
o Reviewing processes/procedures, collect
system operational data for analysis
o Coordinating extranet equipment installations
with enterprise and local communications
facilities
Basic Qualifications:
o Candidates must have a Secret security
clearance with investigation within the last 6
years
o Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II
certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within
60 days of hire
o IT experience of any combination in
system/database/network administration
o Experience with three of the following:
Powershell; Virtual Machines; DNS/DHCP;
SQLPlus; RMAN; data import/export; Layers
2&3; firewalls; intrusion detection
DoD IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP is
o Experience with the NIST SP800-53 Security Controls.
o Experience with the continuous monitoring of system security controls.
o Experience with ACAS, Nessus and/or Security Center.
o Must be able to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships.
o Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
o Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
o Possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Extensive experience with: Nessus Security Center, McAfee EPO, STIGs, etc.
• Experience with NISPOM and RMF certification and accreditation processes.
• Experience working with classified information systems.
• Ability to work independently without appreciable direction.
• Keen attention to detail and adherence to established security policies.
• eMASS experience.
• Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.

The candidate must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, network devices and supported applications. Successful Candidates will have a thorough understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF). This may include one or more of the following guidance directives: DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253.
Successful candidates will require a strong background in Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and vulnerability scanning, development of the system security plan, maintaining the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), and other security related processes to include part sanitization procedures, vulnerability scanning, and virus scanning. The candidate will perform routine security scans and provide engineering level research when requested. The candidate will apply information technology security principles and configure security settings, apply security patches and conduct media reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked systems and coordinate government agency approvals. Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems with the programs and information systems security manager (ISSM). Assist with self-inspection reviews. Assist in conducting comprehensive investigation of computer security incidents, coordinating with other organizations for expertise.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating and managing advanced information systems within a military environment. This role involves ensuring seamless connectivity and operational functionality of a wide array of communication and information technology systems critical to military operations.

As a Military Information Systems Integrator, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, system architects, and key military stakeholders to implement and optimize systems integration strategies while ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of mission-critical IT systems.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
