Responsibilities:
+ Material handling responsibilities, including moving materials between areas, cleaning raw materials, retrieving and storing inventory, and operating electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers.
+ Moving/delivering large IBCs throughout the building.
+ Delivering and retrieving equipment and supplies to manufacturing locations throughout the building.
+ Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
+ Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.
+ Ensuring quality & compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.
+ Receiving and preparing components for use in manufacturing.
+ Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities.
+ Documenting appropriate paperwork, understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participating in daily performance meetings.
+ Use of pallet jacks and manual wrapping of pallets.
+ Use of computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
+ Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.
+ Ensuring components and products are available for continuous operation.
+ Majority of movement will involve manual or electric material handling equipment (pallet jacks, tuggers, etc.)
Qualifications:
+ Associate degree OR High school diploma / GED and 1 year of Manufacturing or Operations experience
+ Operating pallet jacks - manual and electric
+ Forklift certification is a plus
+ Use of Safety glasses, Steel-toe shoes, Scrubs & gowning
+ Prior industry experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in clean room environments such as pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or other controlled settings.
+ Familiarity with gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements is essential.
+ The role involves material handling responsibilities, including moving materials between areas, cleaning raw materials, retrieving and storing inventory, and operating electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers. While forklift certification is a plus
+ Day Shift 6:45AM- 7:00PM Two-week schedule - Opportunity for over time every other week.
