Ingredion is hiring a Tax Associate based out of the Tulsa location. This role will be reporting to the Associate Manager of Indirect Tax and collaborate within a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role will assist Tax leadership with Sales Tax Exemption Certificate reviews, W9 and W8 Validations and general reporting. You may also assist where needed and support the tax teams to resolve issues.
Core Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include reviewing and recording in Vertex all Sales Tax exemption certificates, W9s and W8s as assigned in a timely and high-quality fashion and ensuring adherence to strong internal controls.
Review and process high volumes of Sales Tax Exemption Certificates, W9s and W8sWeekly reporting on Sales Tax Exemption certificate compliance & take necessary action to remediate as neededSupport Audits as assignedEnsure company policies and procedures are being adhered to.Communicate all activities to managers and escalate important issues when appropriate.Identify areas of continuous improvement and or challengesOther duties as assignedQualified candidates will have:
Associate's degree in accounting, Finance or business-related field 2+ years experience in tax compliance (exemption certifications, W9s or W8s) compliance.Understanding of internal controls, compliance requirementsHave a strong sense of urgency and ability to solve problemsExperience in SAP, VERTEX and MS ExcelAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with excellent time management and problem-solving skillsStrong Communication skills and a team playerGlobal Shared Services environment experience is a plusWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. $51,300.00-$66,700.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
