About The Opportunity
The Junior Accountant will be working with the Accounting Manager on handling the daily, weekly and monthly Finance activities. Will be responsible to Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.
You'll Get
Completion of month end accounting duties, as assigned to the role, e.g.
Produce P&L trend and variance analysis and month end supporting schedules
Prepare, review and/or post monthly accruals and prepayments
Complete nominated balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist the Financial Accounting Manager in the preparation of monthly reporting pack and queries and any other reporting performed by the department.
Provide other assistance to the Accounting managers as required
Liaison with auditors (external financial, internal SoX and internal audit)
Maintain compliance with statutory requirements
Good Knowledge of local IFRS and USGaap adjustment
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree on Accounting with equivalent work experience
Two to five years of related experience
Excellent communication skills; ability to build relationships across a business
High level of personal accountability
Enjoys a hands-on environment and approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem resolution skills
