Job Description

We are now expanding our team and looking for qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position as Junior Accountant to support our company.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

Issuing of customer invoicesGenerating of payment reminders/statements to customers and follow up on pending paymentsReconciliation of cash advances received from clientsBooking of bank statements and performing bank account reconciliationsMaintenance of customer master dataAssistance in processing weekly paymentsHandling of various queriesInvolvement in process improvements within the Accounts Receivable team

QualificationsCollege/University Degree or Professional Training in the field of Accounting Minimum 3 years’ experience working in accounting (preferably accounts receivable)Experience in an international company is a plusKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and tax legislationAbility to communicate effectively in English Good knowledge of MS OfficeKnowledge of and experience with SAP is a plusAbility to work independently and in a team environmentResponsibility, attention to detail, communication skillsAbility to multitask and practice accountability for assigned tasks
