Description We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in New York. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and resolving financial inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial accounts. Responsibilities • Handle the preparation and detailed analysis of all transactions and reconciling items. • Ensure daily and monthly journal entries are recorded, including foreign currency transactions and translation. • Conduct detailed analyses for Form 990 and the annual audit. • Participate in the annual external audit and engage in special projects. • Prepare balance sheet and income statement account analyses as well as monthly/quarterly/ad hoc reports. • Assist in other finance-related assignments when required. • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned. • Prepare monthly reconciliations for various bank accounts. • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. • Oversee general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
