Job Description

We are seeking an accounts receivable associate at our headquarters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling and processing all paper, electronic, and credit card receipts not auto-posted through PeopleSoft and handling payments not posted through the A/R system. This role involves detailed research and application of payment information to proper customer accounts using web-based image applications.

ResponsibilitiesReconcile and process all paper, electronic, and credit card receipts not auto-posted through PeopleSoft.Handle payments (checks) not posted through the A/R system.Research unidentified Accounts Receivable checks.Verify all payment information is accurate and applied to proper customer accounts.Use web-based image application for various tasks.Process and reconcile daily bank deposits (non A/R and A/R).Retrieve, compile, and process all Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs).Research and retrieve Imaged Check Requests.Perform other Accounts Receivable duties as requested.Essential Skills0-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced functions.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both internal and external customers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of PeopleSoft Applications is a plus.Work Environment

The role is based in a cubical environment within a building that houses the Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, and Accounts Payable departments. You will be working with a team of about 8-10 members. The team is very team-oriented and values collaboration, often enjoying lunch together and participating in team activities such as outings, BBQs, pizza parties, and even manicures as rewards for hard work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
