Junior Administrative Assistant
Description A busy company in the Fairfield area is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to join their growing team. This Junior Administrative Assistant will get the chance to join a dynamic team that works great with each other, and with a manager who loves promoting with or in other areas of the business. The ideal Junior Administrative Assistant will have their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and have 0-1 years of office experience. This Junior Administrative Assistant must possess excellent written and verbal communication, and has excellent attention to detail. This Junior Administrative Assistant role focuses on ensuring smooth and efficient administrative functions, bridging communication gaps with vendors, and performing various oil scheduling tasks as directed. Other duties of this Junior Administrative Assistant will include but not be limited to: Responsibilities: + Handle customer service duties including answering inbound calls and responding to email correspondence. + Validate and maintain scheduling data in our trading system of record. + Act as a liaison with vendors and our accounting department regarding aged payables. + Conduct various ad hoc oil scheduling tasks as guided. + Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various tasks. + Implement data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. + Facilitate effective communication with all levels of management, both internally and externally. + Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues. + Assume ownership of assigned tasks and work independently. + Organize and schedule appointments as required.
