Junior Asset Manager

Leidos is hiring a Junior Asset Manager to support the FTC EUSS program. The FTC EUSS program is an IT Services program supporting the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The program provides a range of IT services, including help desk, asset management, desk side support, Windows workstation engineering and maintenance, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory services, and video conferencing, among others. Leidos has an opportunity for an individual to serve as the Asset Manager on the Helpdesk team supporting our customer from our Downtown Washington, DC office.

Location: 100% onsite in Washington, DC

Part of the helpdesk support staff’s job is interfacing with customers and leaving the customer with his or her problem resolved, in a very timely manner.   As such, the ability to prioritize work based on ticket and customer priority, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all critical to the success of the individual selected for this position.

All work for the team is tracked in a ticketing system. The ticketing system will be utilized to track performance with negotiated service level agreements and to measure the effectiveness of the staff. Staff members are responsible for always keeping tickets and assets up to date. Candidates for these positions should have experience working on and resolving issues with this type of office IT environment.

Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Ship and receive all IT assets.Keeping asset management database accurate.Processing Break / Fix, returns, new seat documentation for end-user computer devices.Backup Data recovery, imaging, and repair.Creating incidents/service tickets through ServiceNow our ticket management system.Assess issues and diagnose problems.Coordinate and facilitate the warranty process for repairs.Conduct physical and virtual audits monthly, quarterly, and annually.Manage bench stock devices across both local locations.Coordinate with POCs for shipping to Regional Offices.Review, update, and create documentation as needed.Support hardware deployment projects.Follow decommissioning process for end-of-life devices.Assist Tier 2 Technicians with hardware-related issues, including working tickets to completion.Create/update asset management-related documentation (SOP, work instructions, etc.)Create or improve current asset management at both local locations.

Requirements:

High school diploma with 3+ years’ experience in asset managementExperience ITSM ticketing system (i.e., ServiceNow, Salesforce or Remedy)Customer service-focused attitudePast experience providing IT support in a Windows office environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, prior to start dateAbility to maintain a Public Trust security clearanceU.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

This is a junior-level position, the salary range is $55K to $67K.

Pay Range:Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
