Description Our client in Valley Center is seeking a Junior Bookkeeping Specialist with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: + Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger. + Assist in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. + Reconcile bank and credit card statements, identifying and addressing any discrepancies. + Prepare basic financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets. + Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all financial activities. + Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed. Requirements + Some prior exposure to bookkeeping or accounting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. + Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and basic Excel skills. + Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + Good communication and organizational skills. + High school diploma required; coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
