We are looking for a Business Intern to assist with tasks in our Corporate Credit Card and Process Controls organization at Xcel Energy.
Work with the Corporate Credit Card team from a compliance perspective in auditing expense reports to policy, review receipts/back up documentation and within appropriate spend limitations. Assisting with corporate credit monthly and quarterly spend reports. Compliance reporting to identity that purchases meet criteria of qualified purchases on corporate credit.
Work with the Process Controls team to assist in performing quarterly assessments. These duties will include gathering and compiling information from a variety of data sources to ensure company risk is mitigated. Data will be sent to appropriate owner for sign off documentation will be retained in appropriate location. Individual will assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies identified during review.
This opportunity will begin during the school year and will extend into the summer months. The candidate should be able to work full-time during the summer. If the intern works during the school year, their hours should be part-time.
Minimum Requirements:
Enrolled in programs such as supply chain, advertising, marketing, safety and health, management, human resources, training, labor relations, public relations, government relations, business administration, legal and regulatory compliance and similar.
