Job Title: Procurement Assistant
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant to join our team on a 6+ month contract with a high possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will assist buyers in following up with suppliers, communicating updates, and ensuring efficient procurement processes.

ResponsibilitiesAssist buyers in following up with suppliers via email and phone.Communicate updates to buyers and planners.Request improvements and follow up consistently with suppliers.Run reports in Microsoft Excel and send these to suppliers.Update planning systems with information from suppliers.Essential SkillsProficiency in data entry.Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, and MRP systems.Strong time management skills to handle multiple products simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Bill of Materials.Familiarity with MRP systems.Knowledge of inventory management and lead times.Work Environment

The work environment includes regular use of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The role may require interaction with suppliers and internal teams through email and phone communications.
