We have a client located on the east side of Houston looking to hire a junior buyer.  This company designs and builds custom equipment used in power generation across a variety of industries.  This is a long term contract role that would have a high likelihood of converting to direct in the future along with a promotion track.

Responsibilities: Research, select and purchase quality products and materials. Work  to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products Effectively communicate with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels. Requirements: Bachelors degree required Preference is for 0-2 years experience Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a large number of transactions. Strong verbal/written communication skills
