Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to provide general and purchasing support, ensuring consistent service levels related to coin offerings. This role involves assisting in the development and maintenance of a reliable supplier base, generating and maintaining purchase order data, and managing supplier communications to avoid backorders.

The Junior Buyer will also play a key role in scheduling grading for all programs and individual requirements, ensuring timelines and objectives are met for assigned projects and relationships. Working closely with the Director of Procurement, Procurement Supervisor, Product Merchandisers, and Numismatists, the Junior Buyer will contribute to achieving departmental goals, maintaining daily operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and selecting vendors for coin and collateral purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery.Contribute to improving forecasting accuracy and ensure inventory availability aligns with product release schedules across all marketing channels.

Requirements:

Preferred experience and knowledge in numismatics and the coin market.A minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing, project management, product management, or a related field.Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to identify and explore innovative opportunities.
