Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary consulting firm in South Florida. The position involves civil engineering, land planning, drafting assignments, project research, engineering calculations and reports, and construction inspections. The ideal candidate will be familiar with water, sewer, paving, drainage, stormwater management, site engineering, and various engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesPerform civil engineering and land planning assignmentsConduct project research and engineering calculationsPrepare engineering reportsCarry out construction inspections as directedUtilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for design tasksPerform site inspections and manage site civil projectsEssential SkillsBachelor of Science in Engineering0-4 years of experience in civil site projects, land development, or transportation engineeringKnowledge of civil engineering concepts, practices, and proceduresProficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStationFamiliarity with Microsoft Office SuiteEngineer Intern (E.I.) or the ability to obtain within one yearAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in site civil projects and land developmentInterest in broadening engineering experienceAbility to conduct inspections and work on-sitePreferred 1 year of on-site experienceWork Environment
The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on civil site engineering, surveying and mapping, and land development services. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
