We are seeking a talented individual to join our UK Defined Contribution (DC) Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You’ll be part of the UK Defined Contribution (DC) Consulting team, responsible for providing expertise and guidance to organizations and their employees on managing and optimizing their defined contribution retirement plans. We assist with various aspects of the plan, including investment selection and monitoring, plan design and administration, regulatory compliance, participant education and communication, and overall plan governance.
You’ll be working directly and in a daily basis with the UK-based consultants and analysts in several UK offices locations.
We will count on you to:
Provide input and support to consultants in the advice to both trustee and employer clients in governance and investment related topics.Support consultants in governance requirements such as Chair’s Statement, SIP’s, client engagements.Support consultants analyzing strategy changes, single asset class manager and structure changes, market updates, climate change and ESG analysis, etc..Communicate effectively to external and internal clients in a non-technical manner.Support consultants drafting client presentations, meeting agendas/minutes and any other required meeting materials as well as supporting in the post meeting actions.Expand understanding of client needs and start assisting more senior colleagues in formulating plans to grow revenue and strengthen relationships with clients.What you need to have?
Bachelors or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.Fluency in English (C1).Motivation to learn and succeed as an analyst consultant.Team Player attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to take ownership for work, always ensuring standards and deadlines are met.Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.Why join our team:
